Home Stretch

Having received a social call from no less a personage than the Lady Linoleum herself has prompted me to get off my ass, so to speak, and post something. The semester is winding down now--my very last assignment is due in nine days, and then I'm going to do a bunch of no pressure, sheer pleasure reading (by which I mean manga...hush now), entertain my kid, graduate with my Master's and prepare for turning 28. And probably nap.

It's been so long since I worked on anything that I'll probably have to frog everything, having forgotten where I was in the pattern. Hopefully this at least will survive:

The baby hat for Mom's next auction (not 'til spring). Not frogging it will require I remember what size I am making. I really ought to write this crap down. Got a scarf started upstairs somewhere, except I have to find the pattern... SO! ORGANIZED!

M's Culture Report

I'm not going to say anything about Paris and Britney. Nope. We can only hope that the combined gravitational force of the black holes between their ears will suck them into oblivion and we will finally be free.

I have a general PSA: Gals, if you are wearing furry boots, it is too f*cking cold to be wearing a miniskirt. You don't look cute, you look too stupid to dress yourself.

And finally, I have decided that I really want to be in a Go Gos tribute band. Fortunately for the Go Gos and their fans, I can't sing or play the relevant instruments, so their music is safe.

End of bulletin. I have some reading to do and seasonal decorating to do. Peace out.

You are going to have to do a

sign for Trent's site. Drake will hold the sign with you!

I am in the countdown myself, with only one MASSIVE paper to go and most of a week to do it in. Wonder twin powers....ACTIVATE!

Yeah - the Culture Report is back! SO glad to know that I don't have to keep looking for the mini-skirt to go with the fur boots I don't have either!

Happy end-o-education!!
